A nursing home in Erlanger, Kentucky, has agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by the federal government accusing the center for providing "worthless services" that led to the death of five residents. The suit claimed the nursing home violated the False Claims Act by defrauding Medicare and Medicaid over reimbursement bulls for poor resident care.
