The family of a woman who was killed by a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Chula Vista has filed suit against the agent and the agency, calling the killing unjustified. The police report says the woman hit the officer with her car and fled with him on the hood while leaving an apartment complex, but witnesses at the scene say the officer jumped on the woman's car to stop her from leaving, and then shot her five times as she tried to reverse and drive away. The suit also claims the agent had a history of disciplinary issues as a sheriff's deputy and should have never been hired. San Diego personal injury attorney
